Principal's Message
I am very much delighted to convey my warm greetings to the Management, Faculty, Staff and the students of this prestigious P. A. College of Engineering and Technology. We, at PACET, impart futuristic technical education and instill high pattern of discipline. Education is sweeter and valuable when it promotes the blossoming of natural talent that enriches students to be value enhanced individuals. The scenario of technical education in India is now in a transformational phase as compared to earlier times. We are in a compelling era where global conditions require conventional practices which make one to change and adapt to suit the present requirements and also address futuristic needs. The college is committed in enhancing the quality of service delivery, providing practical cum industrial-oriented programs and ensuring a valuable campus environment for the faculty and students. With the support of the Management, faculty members, staff and students are excelling in their work. The holistic and comprehensive education provided in the College will enlighten the students and enable them to become employment-ready.
Principal's Profile
Dr. T. Manigandan, Principal of P. A. College of Engineering and Technology, is a resourceful, eminent and devoted scholar in the field of Electrical Engineering. Prior to the Principal of this College, he acted as the Dean and Head of the Department , School of Electrical Sciences at Kongu Engineering College, Perundurai, an esteemed institution, where he served as a professor and in other capacities more than a decade and elsewhere for 8 years. He received his B.E., degree from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, M.E., from PSG College of Technology and Ph.D., from Anna University, Chennai.
A conscientious teacher, sagacious Educational Administrator blended with intelligence and compassion, Prof. Dr. T. Manigandan has tremendous potential benevolent to students as well as teaching community. Under his excellent guidance, so far 17 scholars received their doctoral degree and 3 are working towards their doctoral degree in different areas of Electrical Engineering. He has published 86 research papers in reputed International Journals and 3 in renowned National Journals. He has also presented 44 papers in various international conferences and 32 papers in national conferences. Apart from these, he has been the resource person to many workshops, conferences and faculty development programmes and conducted a number of conferences, workshops and pedagogic training programmes. He has been one of the members of Editorial and Review committee for more than 20 journals vary from national to international and has been holding various posts in professional bodies. He has been appointed as the Head of Boards of Studies for University curricula and chairing many sessions of international and national seminars, symposia and involving himself in promoting research activities.
