The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was started in the year 2008, M.E (Power Electronics and Drives) in 2012 and Ph.D Research Programme in 2015. The department has well equipped laboratory facilities and highly qualified faculty members having rich experience in teaching. Electrical and Electronics Engineering one of prime disciplines in engineering and has its own contribution to the society by various researches, consequently modern developments across the world. Curriculum & Syllabi in Electrical & Electronics Engineering which lays a greater emphasis on design and development of Electrical circuits, Electrical machines, Power systems and Power Electronics and other related courses of Electrical Engineering. It offers the opportunity for study and research, both theoretical and experimental, in a wide variety of subjects, including Power quality engineering, Protection and switch gear, Measurements and instrumentation, Electric drives and Signal processing. Electrical and Electronics Engineering concentrates on the development of renewable energy sources such as Solar, Wind, Tidal Power, Biomass, Biodiesel, Ethanol and others. The department imparts the practical enhanced knowledge to the students on the fundamentals of electronic systems, as well as acknowledging the multi-disciplinary nature of the field. Also, closely coherent with Computation and Neural Systems, Bioengineering, Computer Science and Control Systems. Department is fully equipped with the state-of-the-art laboratories with software systems for enhancing the knowledge.
