Strength of materials Laboratory
The laboratory is equipped with sophisticated and expensive equipments like Universal testing Machine, Hardness testing machine, Impact testing machine, torsion testing machine etc. The purpose of this laboratory experiments is to understand various aspects of mechanics of materials through laboratory analysis. This laboratory involves many experiments which will help to learn and understand the properties of material as well as the responses under various loads.
This lab helps the students to handle practical problems on surveying and levelling a field, which is an important process to be conducted before starting up of any major civil engineering project. The lab has equipments like theodolite, dumpy levels, prismatic compass and chain with all accessories. The laboratory aims with the purpose of enabling the students to practice land surveying techniques, using a wide spectrum of surveying equipments.

Survey laboratory is well equipped with both the modern surveying instruments as well as traditional surveying instruments. Survey lab practice I exposes students to the basic land surveying and leveling surveying. Survey lab practice II provides training to the theodolite, tacheometric and construction surveying. Students have opportunity to use advanced total station equipment.
Computer aided building drawing Laboratory
The lab has computers with latest civil engineering software which is used to draft technical drawings of buildings and also todesign, analyze structures. The laboratory will help the students to model the building in 2D and 3D and alsoto anlyze the structures using computer software packages like AutoCAD, Staad proetc.
Environmental Engineering Laboratory
In the Environmental Engineering Laboratory, Facilities for carrying out Laboratory coursework & experimental research work for under graduate students. Following experimental studies and testing are carried out at the environmental engineering laboratory.

Soil Mechanics Laboratory
Experiments on classification, shear strength, compaction and permeability characteristics of soils are conducted under this courseApart from this, various testing like determination of bearing capacity of soil using Standard Penetration Test (SPT), plate load test and UCC test apparatus, CBR test for pavement design, compaction test, field density test, are performed.
