About IT

The Department of Information Technology was established in the year 2008 and offers B.Tech Programme. In this era of digital world, the IT department offers an excellent atmosphere for students to learn and acquire the necessary skills as demanded by the industry. Our programme is designed with a balance of core subjects, electives, and industry-focused projects, enabling students to specialize in various domains of IT such as Software Development, Network Security and Cryptography, Data Science and Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Cloud Computing and IoT. The department is enriched with well-equipped laboratories, department library and R&D facilities. Students and faculty members are a part of professional societies like IEEE, ISTE, ISTE, CSI etc., in order to gain contemporary knowledge about the happenings in the industry. The department emphasizes research that bridges the gap between academic learning and practical application.
