EEE PEOs | POs | PSOs
Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)
PEO1: To apply fundamental and advanced engineering knowledge to analyze and solve real-world engineering problems using appropriate tools and techniques..
PEO2: To design and develop engineering solutions, analyze systems, and interpret data to meet the needs of industry and society.
PEO3: To pursue successful careers in industry, higher education, or research, and adapt to emerging technologies and multidisciplinary environments through lifelong learning.
Programme Outcomes (POs)
Engineering Graduates will be able to:
PO 1:Engineering knowledge :Apply knowledge of mathematics, natural sciences, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to a wide range of practical procedures and practices.
PO 2:Problem analysis : Identify and analyze well-defined engineering problems and reach substantiated conclusions using codified methods of analysis specific to their field of activity.
PO 3:Design/Development of solutions : DDesign solutions for well-defined technical problems and assist in the design of systems, components, or processes to meet specified needs, with appropriate consideration for public health and safety, as well as cultural, societal, and environmental factors.
PO 4:Conduct Investigations of Complex Problems : Conduct investigations of well-defined problems by locating and search relevant codes and catalogues, and by conducting standard tests and measurements.
PO 5:Engineering Tool Usage : Apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern computing, engineering and IT tools to well-defined engineering problems, while being aware of their limitations.
PO 6:The Engineer and the World : When solving well-defined engineering problems, evaluate sustainable development impacts to: society, the economy, sustainability, health and safety, legal frameworks, and the environment.
PO 7:Ethics : Understand and commit to professional ethics and the norms of technician practice, including compliance with relevant laws. Demonstrate an understanding of the need for diversity and inclusion.
PO 8:Individual and Collaborative Team Work : Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse and inclusive teams, in multidisciplinary face-to-face/remote/distributed settings.
PO 9:Communication: Communicate effectively and inclusively on well-defined engineering activities with the engineering community and society at large by comprehending the work of others, documenting one’s own work, and giving and receiving clear instructions.
PO 10:Project Management and Finance : Demonstrate awareness of engineering management principles as a member or leader of a technical team and apply them to manage projects in multidisciplinary environments.
PO 11:Life-Long Learning: Recognize the need for, and have the ability for independent updating in the face of specialized technical knowledge.
Programme Specific Outcomes (PSOs)
PSO 1: Students will be able to address emerging electrical engineering challenges in modern electrical energy systems using modern engineering tools.
PSO 2: Students will be able to demonstrate competency in competitive examinations and pursue careers in industry, higher education, and research at national and international levels.
